Trane SEET lab · Tyler, Texas
Before a Trane outdoor unit wears the badge, it goes through Trane’s System Extreme Environmental Test (SEET) lab in Tyler, Texas. Running units take rain, ice, snow and blistering heat, packing years of severe weather into a few months.

Built for winter
Trane’s 20 TruComfort™ Cold Climate Heat Pump with WeatherGuard™ is built for the coldest days, and it can work with a gas furnace for dual fuel. Ask SwiftPro whether it’s a fit for your home.

More than just the numbers
The specs can wait. Start with how your system runs, where savings can come from and how it keeps you warm on the coldest days.
Variable speed comfort
Single-stage runs at full power, then shuts off. Variable speed can slow down and keep going, to help keep comfort steadier.
Trane 14 and 16 use a single-stage compressor: one output, then off. Simple and dependable. Trane 20 TruComfort™ is variable speed, with up to 750 speeds on the heat pump and 700 on the AC, depending on size.
Indoors, two-stage furnaces add a lower heating stage, and a variable speed blower adjusts airflow.

Energy savings
Efficient equipment can help lower your cooling and heating bills. Results vary with your home, rates and weather.
Your certified rating depends on the exact indoor and outdoor match, confirmed at your site survey.

Dual fuel
A heat pump heats your home on milder days. On the coldest ones, a 96% gas furnace takes over.
SwiftPro confirms your changeover settings and any gas piping or venting work, with its price, before installation. Winter bills depend on your rates, so there’s no single lowest-cost choice for every home.

Connected comfort
Check the temperature, switch modes or run your schedule without getting up. Every system comes with a smart thermostat, and the one you get depends on your system.
Remote diagnostics: Trane 20 includes 10 years; on Trane 14 and 16 it’s optional at $99 a year. App and connected features depend on the thermostat, compatible equipment, an internet connection and your permission.
No surprises
Buying a system is a big decision. Here is exactly how it works, what can change, and what happens if it does.
No. It is credited once toward your final system price, so it is never added on top. Nothing else is charged when you order.
If the financing you chose isn’t approved, or your site-survey estimate is more than 10% higher or lower than your saved order total, you can cancel without penalty and get the full $100 back. A change of 10% or less doesn’t qualify. Otherwise, the $100 is non-refundable.
Removal and recycling of your old equipment, a new pad, electrical disconnect and wiring, an EZ Trap, a flushed and pressure-tested line set, startup testing, a walkthrough of your controls and your first year of Comfort+.
Your site survey checks access, ductwork, utilities and capacity. If anything extra is needed, we show you the revised scope and price in writing before installation. Nothing starts until you’ve seen it.

Ranges cover the AHRI-certified combinations SwiftPro offers from 1.5 to 5 tons. Your certified rating depends on the exact indoor and outdoor match confirmed at your site survey. What do these ratings mean?
Cooling savings
In this example, a higher SEER2 rating means more savings on the same cooling, with the electricity price held steady. Results vary with your home, rates and weather.
A 3-ton heat pump example. Cooling only.
About $342 a year in cooling savings with Trane 16, in this example.
Optional: use your own yearly cooling electricity cost and your current rating.
Cooling only, rather than your whole utility bill.
Older SEER and newer SEER2 ratings use different tests, so don’t enter one as the other.
Illustrated yearly cooling cost = your current yearly cooling cost × your current SEER2 ÷ the comparison SEER2. The cooling delivered and the electricity price stay the same. Heating, installation price and financing are left out; this is not a payback calculation.
The 3-ton heat pump examples use 14.3, 15.2 and 20 SEER2 for Trane 14, 16 and 20, from matched systems we offer at that size. Ratings describe specific equipment combinations, not every system in a Trane comfort level.
Winter bills depend on your electric and gas rates and your home’s heating needs, so there is no single lowest-cost choice for every home. SwiftPro helps you compare the options during your site survey.

Selected credits apply immediately; eligibility is confirmed at your site survey. Utility incentives are separate.
Your first year is included
Your first year of SwiftPro Comfort+ is included: four scheduled visits that put heating, cooling, plumbing and dryer vent care on the calendar. After that, you can choose to continue at $199 a year. Nothing renews automatically.

Prepare for summer with a safety and operation check. Your technician checks electrical components, the outdoor unit and condensate drain, measures airflow and temperature, and checks the thermostat. Findings are documented for you.

Before the colder season, SwiftPro checks furnace or heat pump operation, electrical components, thermostat settings and airflow. For gas furnaces, the visit includes inspecting burners, ignition, the flame sensor and heat exchanger.

This visit includes a water heater flush, a sewer camera inspection and a plumbing safety check. SwiftPro documents observations about the water heater, shutoffs, pressure and other inspected plumbing components.

The team inspects the vent with a camera, cleans the vent line, checks airflow at the exterior hood and shows you what was removed. The membership visit also includes an air quality inspection.
Care for the air you come home to

AprilAire 720M. Adds moisture to dry indoor air during the heating season.

AprilAire U131, MERV 11. Captures airborne particles as air moves through your system.

Air Scrubber by Aerus, non-ozone model. Works inside your ductwork with your heating and cooling system.

Fresh-Aire UV Blue-Tube. Treats the indoor coil area to help control biological growth.
Each one is optional. We confirm fit and placement and explain upkeep, like filter and lamp changes, before installation.

Call (703) 997-9757Use the order page to choose a system, indoor setup, capacity, air accessories and payment path. Review the preliminary estimate and all fee terms before placing an order. SwiftPro then confirms the equipment and installation requirements at your site survey.
The $100 USD order fee is credited toward your final system price. You may cancel without penalty and receive a full refund if your selected financing is not approved, or the site-survey estimate increases or decreases by more than 10% from your saved configuration total. Otherwise, the fee is non-refundable.
Use the cancellation option in your order-confirmation link, or call SwiftPro at (703) 997-9757. We’ll confirm the qualifying reason against your saved order and site survey. Exactly 10% does not qualify.
Not yet. Your online estimate is preliminary. At your site survey we confirm capacity, the matched indoor and outdoor equipment, ductwork, utilities, access, any extra work and the credits you selected. Then we review the final plan and price with you before installation.
0% APR for 60 months on approved credit; your terms and monthly payment depend on approval. Cash and financing start from the same system price, and there’s no financing fee. The 10% discount applies only when you pay cash, so paying cash costs less overall.
You can combine a $500 credit for a firefighter, teacher or first responder, a $500 referral credit and a $500 trade-in credit for a system at least 10 years old, plus the $2,000 SwiftPro rebate on eligible Trane 20 variable speed heat pump configurations. Credits apply as soon as you select them, and we confirm eligibility at your site survey. If you pay cash, the 10% discount is taken after your credits. A referral gives your friend three months of Comfort+, arranged separately; nothing is enrolled or sent automatically. Utility incentives are separate.
A heat pump moves heat to warm your home in colder weather and cool it in warmer weather. Choose an all-electric setup with an air handler, or pair it with a 96% gas furnace for a dual-fuel system. An air conditioner with a gas furnace is a familiar pairing for a gas-heated home.
Your home’s utilities and the way you heat today help guide the right path. Winter bills depend on energy rates and heating needs, so there is no single lowest-cost choice for every home.
A single-stage outdoor compressor operates at one output and cycles off when the thermostat is satisfied. A variable speed compressor, like Trane 20 TruComfort™, can adjust its output as your home needs more or less. Two-stage furnaces add a lower heating stage, and a variable speed blower adjusts indoor airflow.
Sizing, ductwork, installation and controls all matter to how consistent your home feels.
Home size is a starting point for the online estimate. SwiftPro confirms the final capacity using the home’s construction, windows, insulation, airflow and heating and cooling needs. Tell us about rooms that feel uncomfortable, too.
SEER2 rates cooling efficiency over a typical season, and EER2 rates cooling at a hot 95°F outdoor condition. HSPF2 rates a heat pump’s heating efficiency over a season. Higher numbers are more efficient. These “2” ratings use the U.S. Department of Energy test procedure in effect since 2023, so older SEER, EER and HSPF numbers are not directly comparable.
AFUE describes the share of furnace fuel that becomes heat under standardized conditions: about 80 or 96 out of every 100 units for the furnaces SwiftPro offers. The order page lists the AHRI reference for your selection.
The standard configuration includes a Honeywell Home ElitePRO S900. A variable speed furnace upgrade comes with a Trane Priority thermostat, and Trane 20 uses a premium Trane touchscreen thermostat. App and connected features depend on the thermostat, compatible equipment, an internet connection and your permission.
A Trane replacement may be an option whatever brand you have today. Your utilities, ductwork and equipment requirements guide the choice. New components must form an approved matched system; keeping existing equipment requires a compatibility check.
Removal and recycling of your old equipment, a new pad, electrical disconnect and wiring, an EZ Trap, a flushed and pressure-tested line set, startup testing, a walkthrough of your controls and your first year of Comfort+.
Your outdoor unit, indoor coil, blower and controls must work together as an approved matched system; SwiftPro reviews that match and any additional work with you at your site survey, before installation.
Your first year of SwiftPro Comfort+ is included with your system: cooling maintenance, heating maintenance, a water heater flush with a sewer camera inspection and plumbing safety check, and a dryer vent cleaning with an air quality inspection. After the first year, you can choose to continue at $199 a year; nothing renews automatically. See each visit.
With compatible connected equipment, an internet connection and your permission, your system can share information with SwiftPro before a visit. Depending on the system, that can include operating patterns, temperature history, humidity or equipment alerts. Remote access to your thermostat needs separate permission, and some concerns still need an on-site visit.
Trane 20 includes 10 years of remote diagnostics. On Trane 14 and 16 it’s optional at $99 a year: add it when you configure your system, and SwiftPro invoices it for each year you keep it, starting after installation, separate from your system price and the $100 order fee. We confirm your equipment is compatible at the site survey. Remote diagnostics aren’t emergency monitoring: call SwiftPro for service, and emergency services if safety is at risk.
Your Trane equipment comes with Trane’s written limited warranty: 10 years on parts with registration, and up to 12 years on select compressors. Coverage and the registration step depend on the exact model, and we go over those written terms with you before installation. Labor coverage is separate: you can add the optional 10-year labor warranty for $998 when you configure your system, and we review its written terms with you before installation.
A good next step starts with answers
AC repair, heating repair or a new system: start by understanding what’s wrong and what it would take to put it right. If you’re comparing Trane with Lennox, Carrier, Rheem, Bryant, Goodman or Daikin, compare the whole comfort plan: equipment fit, installation, care and written warranty terms.
Ask for a diagnosis, repair scope, cost and any applicable warranty coverage. Uneven temperatures or poor airflow can have several causes. A clear diagnosis helps you compare a repair with an AC, heat pump or heating replacement.
Look for the proposed capacity, matched indoor and outdoor equipment, installation scope, controls, maintenance and written warranty terms. Ask how additional work will be reviewed. The online estimate is a starting point; your site survey sets the final plan and quote.
New-system estimates are free. Heating and cooling diagnostic visits are $99, with the price of the fix in writing before any work starts.
